I remember you were just getting started when I lived in N.Y. from 1989-1998. I think you had just written your first book–I was a writer for The Black American and Our Times. I can’t believe how far you’ve come. I just went to Wal Mart today here in L.A. and saw your books on the shelves. I believe you had a day job when you were writing your first book and 2 daughters? Where did you find the time? Fabulous.
wow, that is going back. I am stunned that you remember all of that. yes, two daughters, a son (since then) who is a junior in college and last saturday, my fourth grandchild! time keeps rolling along. I pray all is well with you. L.A.!! love the west coast. be well.
I am a true fan. However, someone in your camp dropped the ball in proofing “Say Yes”. Revisions were not removed properly.
I refer to pages 135/136. Revised to pages 143/144??????
Exact paragraphs. Cleanup changes evident.
With all respect and true love.
I have never made comments such as this so, forgive me if I am in error.

I’m so glad I found a great writer. I read the follow up to Getting Hers. I use to want to write & never pursued it. Now, your writing may have inspired me to start writing again. Thanks for being smart, creative, not too vulgar & down right good. I’m going to be reading more of your books, I really enjoy them. This is actually my first time reading books of this kind as well. Keep on dreaming & writing!!!
Hi again Ms. Hill, Happy New Year, I contacted you back in August 2011. I can’t stop thinking of your writing. I haven’t been able read another one of your books just yet. I will soon. I was wondering how did you get started writing. I mostly write poems & never tried writing storytelling. I would like to move forward and not sure just how to go about starting. Thanks for any input.
